Self-Induced Spray Wet Explosion-Proof Polishing and Grinding Workbench

The ZY-SF300 Self-Induced Spray Wet Dust Collector operates by using an electric motor to drive a centrifugal fan, creating negative pressure within the sealed collector housing. Under the combined action of this internal negative pressure and the external atmospheric pressure at the air inlet, most of the dust generated by the polisher at the external air inlet fully mixes with the water stored in the bottom water tank and settles at its base. The remaining minor portion of dust, carried by the airflow, enters through the internal air inlet. Here, due to the fan’s negative pressure, the airflow velocity suddenly increases, violently impacting the water surface and creating splashes that thoroughly mix with the dust. This process achieves dust removal while simultaneously preventing the combustion or explosion of flammable and explosive dust such as aluminum or magnesium.

Under the continued negative pressure from the fan, the now cleaned air-water mixture enters a multi-baffle air-water separation chamber. The baffles cause the water vapor to condense and flow back into the return water tank. This water is then cyclically sprayed through corresponding water curtain nozzles, achieving a pump-free water supply system, before ultimately returning to the storage tank.

The separated gas passes through a silencer and is discharged from the outlet. The dust, fully mixed with water, flows through the air-water separator along with the water back to the storage tank. Dust generated during polishing settles in the storage tank, where it is deposited and requires periodic removal. This system enables the collection and unified, harmless treatment of dust and harmful gases produced during the polishing process.

The ZY-SF300 series dust collector is equipped with an automatic water supply level controller featuring an interlocked alarm and shutdown function. When the water level drops 10mm below the set point, the level controller automatically initiates water supply. If it drops 20mm below, an audible and visual alarm is triggered. If water is not supplied within a preset time, a chain reaction initiates a system shutdown. When grinding machines are shut down at the end of a work period, the dust collection fan operates for a delayed period of 3-10 minutes (time set based on remaining dust volume) before stopping.
